Roedd Glyn yn wladgarwr Cymreig pybyr, yn Gynhorydd Cymuned yng Nghorris ac yn ffrind ffyddlon i Gethin ac i finnau hyd at y diwedd. Glyn awgrymodd ein bod yn roi Coron Glyndŵr i'w chadw dan ofal Cefn Caer ym Mhennal gan bod gan y tŷ hynafol hwnnw gysylltiad teuluol ag Owain Glyndŵr a gan bod Elfyn Rowlands, perchennog Cefn Caer, yn gefnder iddo. Bu'n golled enfawr i Gymru ac i ninnau i golli Glyn ac yn sicr, does dim gwladgarwr tebyg iddo i lenwi ei esgidiau yn byw mor agos i Fachynlleth, y dref lle coronwyd Owain Glyndŵr ac lle sefydliwyd Senedd Cymru, ers iddo ein ymadael.
Glyn was a committed and principled patriot right up to the end. He was a Community Councillor in Corris and was a true friend to, both, Gethin and myself. It was Glyn that suggested that we home the Glyndŵr Crown for safe keeping at the medieval hall house of Cefn Caer in Pennal as the hall house had a family association with Owain Glyndŵr. Also, Glyn was a relative of Elfyn Rowlands, now also deceased, who was the owner of Cefn Caer at the time, It was a great loss to us and to Cymru to lose Glyn, and, most definately, there is no patriot to fill his shoes presently living in the vicinity of Machynlleth, the town that Owain Glyndŵr chose to establish his Senedd and be crowned in, since his desparture.
